Have you always wanted to make your own bazhang but are not sure where to start? Join us for a communal bazhang-wrapping experience at the Museum of Food, led by Chef Pang Nyuk Yoon!

About the event
In this 2-hour session, we will learn to prepare bazhang fillings and wrap up to 4 dumplings each. Bazhangs will be made using chicken or vegetarian fillings, as our studio space is halal-friendly.
After wrapping your bazhang, you can choose to stay on and have lunch together while the dumplings cook, or bring your bazhang home to boil.
It’s a safe space for us to try making bazhang, ask questions, and learn from the best!
About Chef Pang Nyuk Yoon:
Chef Pang is an award-winning chef, culinary instructor, grandmother, and a mentor to us at the Museum of Food. Chef Pang wrapped her first bazhang at just 12 years old. She watched as her neighbour made bazhang, and immediately rushed out to buy 300g of glutinous rice, alkali water, and forage for bamboo leaves.
