About the event
The Seventh Lunar Month is upon us! This open house, we'll take a look at ritual foods used as offerings. Besides holding deep meaning, ritual foods can be technically challenging to prepare - from sugar pagodas to candy-sculpted "meat" offerings and giant huat kuehs.
If you're like us, you might have a thousand questions you've never had the chance to ask... with the biggest curiosity being... how do some of these ritual foods taste?
This is a non-religious and non-spiritual event, purely for the exploration of the food items and cultural practices. It's the one "pantang-free" event we wish we had when we were younger.
